Caught a Potential Record? - What Next?

1. If claiming a Record then you must do so to the BRFC promptly, and in writing, addressed to the secretary.

2. You must specify the type of fish caught and the weight.

3. The date and place that the fish was caught must also be listed.

4. You must provide the BRFC with the names and addresses of two witnesses (preferably), who can verify its capture by the claimant and also its weight. These witnesses will have to sign forms supporting the claim. Unwitnessed captures can be accepted if the claimant draws up an affidavit.

5. You should provide good quality photographs of the fish, preferably in colour, with the fish being held by the claimant in a normal manner (No thrusting the fish forward) They should also be taken with the fish lying on or near to an identifiable object.

6. The fish must be weighed on land using scales that must be made available to be tested by weights and measures, who will provide a certificate as to the accuracy of them.

went to epworth fisheries ,nr doncaster.brill day ,loads carp and big bream.steve ,owner ,great bloke ,told us were to fish ,and tactics,fish are in mint condition,defenately be going back,sod lindholme ,hes just a greedy get

slack areas are found mainly on bends in the river, and the term slack refers to the part of the river where the current is not as strong.

There's a cracking place just outside york called pool bridge lakes, it's the sponsor of this site and it's a great days fishing and ou an camp there too. I would definately try there.
